A South African frozen snack manufacturer was packing by hand or semi-manually, which held back output and gave uneven packs. We tested its products on a demonstration machine and supplied a 3-servo flow wrapper that now packs its frozen snacks automatically.
The customer makes a range of frozen snack products for retail and distribution. Each product has its own size and shape, and every pack has to be sealed consistently and look the same on the shelf.
Packing by hand or semi-manually was holding back output as orders grew.

We recommended a 3-servo flow wrapper because it seals each frozen snack in a fitted film pack at speed and adjusts to different product sizes. Film handling, sealing and product flow were set on the customer's own products before installation.
The machine forms film around each product as it travels along the infeed, seals it and cuts it into individual packs.
