We supply packaging machines to manufacturers in six South African regions and eight countries across Southern Africa, all from one workshop at Riversands in Johannesburg. Pick your region below for the delivery, installation and support that applies to you.
We deliver and install from Riversands in Johannesburg. What changes between regions is the freight time, whether a site visit happens before the quote, and how a service call is handled.
Walk-in showroom at Riversands, with installation across the Witwatersrand as a drive rather than a freight booking.
Forty minutes up the N1, so site visits before quoting and follow-up calls are both a drive.
Road freight of two to three days, with your product run and filmed at Riversands before anything ships.
Overnight up the N3, with coastal-specification components priced into the quote from the start.
Two days by road, with export and OEM pack specifications worked to rather than around.
Overnight down the N1, and close enough that watching your product run is a day trip.
Cross-border orders are quoted to our Johannesburg workshop, and you arrange transport from there. Each page sets out the border posts, the road distance and which costs are handled by the buyer.
Cleared at Beitbridge or Chirundu. Our largest market outside South Africa.
Roughly 1,900 km to Lusaka through Chirundu or the Kazungula bridge.
Roughly 360 km to Gaborone, the shortest cross-border run we make.
The N14 through Nakop, or a full container by sea to Walvis Bay.
An overnight 550 km run to Maputo, with ports at Beira and Nacala.
Roughly 360 km through Oshoek, comfortably a day trip for a courier.
Roughly 440 km to Maseru, crossing at Maseru Bridge or Ficksburg.
Three border posts through the Tete corridor, about 1,800 km to Blantyre.
The same four machine types lead almost every enquiry we take, wherever the plant is. Flow wrap, vertical and horizontal form-fill-seal, and shrink wrapping cover most of what producers in the region pack. Filling, labelling, cartoning and end-of-line equipment are supplied on the same terms.
Horizontal flow wrappers for bars, biscuits, frozen snacks, small parts and anything needing a fin or lap seal at speed.
Powders, granules, and liquids formed, filled, and sealed from reel film, with auger, weighing, or volumetric dosing or pump to suit the product.
Stand-up and zipper pouch lines for spices, granules and liquid formats where shelf presentation matters.
L-bar and side sealers, sleeve sealers and shrink tunnels for multipacks, glass jars, hardware and retail-ready packs.

Highly recommended! Excellent customer service, great prices, and they always go above and beyond.
