Industrial packaging machinery supplied from Johannesburg to manufacturers across Eswatini, about 360 km from Matsapha.
We supply flow wrap, VFFS, HFFS, filling, labelling and shrink wrapping machines to producers in Eswatini. The full range is available on the same terms as for a buyer in Johannesburg. The machine that suits you depends on your product, your packaging film and your required output.
Producers in Eswatini most often ask for bulk dry-goods filling, bottling and shrink multipack equipment. This reflects what the country packs: sugar, citrus and juice concentrate, together with the manufacturing on the Matsapha industrial estate.
Send us your product and we will test it before you buy. Courier us your product, the packaging film you intend to use and the carton you pack into. We run a sample batch on the recommended machine and send you the results. No deposit is required for the trial.
We have not yet installed a machine in Eswatini. Across Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Zambia we have delivered all four of the machine types listed on this page, being shrink wrap, flow wrap, vertical form-fill-seal and horizontal form-fill-seal, as well as multihead-weigher systems. We have also air freighted machines directly to clients in Nigeria.

A machine for Eswatini is quoted exactly as it would be for a South African buyer, around your product, pack format, output and level of automation, with installation and operator training included. What changes is the leg from Johannesburg and the clearing at the Oshoek or Golela crossing. Those sit with you, and the split is set out below and in full in our guide to exporting packaging machines.
Our quoted price includes sea freight from the factory to our workshop in Riversands, Johannesburg, which is our only premises in South Africa. There are two ways to move the machine from there into Eswatini. Collecting from Johannesburg is usually the more affordable route.
The machine arrives at Riversands as part of our normal sea shipment, and this freight is already included in the quoted price.
For some machines we can air freight the unit directly to your country instead of routing it through Johannesburg. We supplied our clients in Nigeria this way.
Eswatini is landlocked, and at roughly 360 km the road from Johannesburg beats any sea routing on both time and cost. We also book whole containers and consolidate several customers’ machines into each one, so a shared container cannot be redirected to a single buyer.
Machines leave our Riversands workshop in Johannesburg and reach Mbabane in roughly 360 km through Oshoek and Ngwenya, or Manzini and Matsapha via Golela. Our technicians then travel to site to install and commission the machine.
Lead time is the same as for a South African buyer: a machine we hold at Riversands is ready once payment clears, and one that is not in stock takes 10 to 12 weeks from deposit. Transport from Johannesburg and clearing at the border are on top of that, and the export guide sets out the full sequence.
We supply and support producers across the region from the same Johannesburg workshop, including Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Mozambique, Lesotho and Malawi. See every area we cover on our service areas page.
Ratings and reviews are published on our Google Business Profile, where they can be read in full and in context.
Highly recommended! Excellent customer service, great prices, and they always go above and beyond.
These are the questions we are asked most often by producers in Eswatini. Clearing, warranty, air freight and the rest of the export process are set out in full on our guide to exporting packaging machines from South Africa.
It is a short run: roughly 360 km from Riversands to Mbabane through Oshoek and Ngwenya, or in via Golela if you are at Manzini or on the Matsapha industrial estate. Many buyers simply send their own vehicle; a courier can handle the crossing instead.
Our own technicians drive over and commission the machine on your floor, with operator training included in the quote. You cover the border formalities, accommodation where an overnight is needed and the days on site. At this distance it is usually a short, easily scheduled trip.
Wear parts sit in Johannesburg and are couriered through Oshoek or Golela, normally a fast trip. The same part from an overseas factory is an eight to twelve week wait. Allow for clearing at the border on top of the courier time.
Phone or video call the workshop with your operator at the machine and we work the fault through with them; most turn out to be settings, wear parts or sensors. If a technician is needed, Eswatini is close enough for a same-week visit, and you cover the travel.
We quote in rand, which the lilangeni is pegged to, so the figure carries across directly. Entry- to mid-level machines are 50% deposit and the balance before delivery, with larger or customised projects tied to the Factory Acceptance Test.
Tell us what you are packing and where in Eswatini the machine is going. We need the product, the pack format, your target output, your electrical supply and the town. We will then recommend a suitable machine, quote the price, and compare the cost of collecting from Johannesburg against air freight.
